Michael Huber, head of the GPA Salzburg union, sees open questions in the insolvencies of the Windhager Group in Salzburg. The companies had “very good figures” in terms of liquidity and equity ratio in 2022. That’s why the over-indebtedness is “astonishing”. In September 2023, management decided to distribute profits of three million euros. Huber calls for prospects for the 450 employees. The liquidator must now clarify open questions.
