Every second Russian, when applying for a new job, did not have the opportunity to choose a salary bank, according to a study by the InDepth agency (Izvestia has it).
Thus, half of the citizens (50.6%) were not given the opportunity to choose a payroll credit organization during employment. In addition, only in 15% of cases the employer argues that the salary bank card will allow both the employee and the employer to receive additional bonuses.
At the same time, since 2014, according to the law, employees have the right to receive money from the employer on any card.
“The main reasons for employers’ refusal to transfer employees to individual salary projects were unwillingness to pay commission for interbank transfer, additional burden on accounting and tacit agreements with a certain bank,” the InDepth study emphasizes.
According to Izvestia’s source in a large bank, one of the main reasons for wage slavery is the monopoly of large banks on the payroll projects market. According to him, about half of clients faced such requirements from a new employer. At the same time, the reverse process is also noticeable: people transfer their salaries directly to the card of other non-salary banks with more attractive conditions in the form of cashbacks and spend money from there, they added in Otkritie.
