Applications for Upper Austria’s Daidalos Architecture Prize are constantly being received. The submission deadline has now been extended by one week to give those interested a little more time – from January 21st to 28th. Information and link for submission at nachrichten.at/daidalos. Architectural, civil engineering offices and interdisciplinary project teams are invited to submit submissions. Projects in Upper Austria are approved. The categories are “Valuable substance” (renovations, conversions), “Sophisticatedly planned” (new buildings, new developments) and “Special prize for proven buildings” (older buildings). The jurors are Heidi Pretterhofer, professor of building culture at the Linz University of Art, Christian Tabernig, architect in Graz, and OÖN architecture critic Georg Wilbertz.
