The MDax of medium-sized stocks was down 0.09 percent to 26,274.30 points. The Eurozone leading index EuroStoxx 50 rose by 0.1 percent. There is no impulse from Wall Street at the beginning of the week in view of Martin Luther King Day in the USA. The stock exchanges in New York will not reopen until Tuesday.
In the coming days, companies’ quarterly reporting season, which is slowly gaining momentum – at least in the USA – could provide impetus. In addition, the monetary policy of the central banks remains in focus as one of the most important price drivers.
