The annual heating bill has become a nightmare for many since the beginning of the energy crisis. The prices for gas and oil fluctuate wildly, and heating with fossil fuels will probably never be as cheap as it used to be. Depending on your contract, switching to a cheaper provider may help. And owners can have a modern, energy-efficient heating system installed – although this does come at an initial cost.
But there are also a few things that everyone can do to reduce their heating consumption. Things that may have been dismissed as trivial things in the past, but can now save you a lot of money.
