He Ministry of Economy announced a series of key appointments, consolidating the team to address various strategic aspects. Through the decrees 67/2024, 70/2024, 74/2024 and 75/2024published this Tuesday in the Official bulletinthese changes were formalized.
Marcos Ayerra, graduate in Business Administration and expert consultant in transformation processes, mergers and acquisitions, will assume the role of Secretary of Knowledge Economy. Ayerra, who was president of the National Securities Commission (CNV) from 2015 to 2020, will bring his experience to this position, taking over from Juan Manuel Cheppi.
Matias Mana, also with a degree in Business Administration and a postgraduate degree in Agribusiness, was appointed as Undersecretary of International Financial Relations for Development in the same ministry. His career includes prominent roles at YPF, the agricultural firm Eduardo Beraza and Accenture, as well as valuable contributions in public administration during the governments of Mauricio Macri and Alberto Fernández.
Within the scope of the National Foreign Trade Commission, the economist Juan Pablo Dicovskiy He remained on the board for a period of four years. Dicovskiy, with a background as a member of the same commission between 2018 and 2022, contributes his experience as director of Information and Sectoral Analysis at the Ministry of Economy and coordinator of the Monthly Estimator of Economic Activity (EMAE) at the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses ( Indec).
Within the Ministry of Energy, Mariela Beljansky, electrical engineer and Master in Energy, has been formally appointed as Undersecretary of Energy Planning. With a distinguished career as an energy and climate change consultant, as well as previous experience as national director of Electric Generation, Beljansky will assume a crucial role in the formulation of energy strategies.
