Lohberger, a specialist in ovens and wood stoves based in Schalchen (Braunau district), is getting a new boss: Reinhard Hanusch, who has been with the company for around 20 years, including 15 years as managing director, is stepping down from this position, “of his own free will”, as it says in a broadcast today, Wednesday. He will be 60 years old this year and has realized that what he has achieved so far may not have been everything. In the future, he wants to concentrate on the strategic orientation and networking of Lohberger and other companies inside and outside the Austroholding group and also work in an advisory capacity for Lohberger. It is not yet clear who will follow him.
Lohberger has been around for almost 100 years: In addition to producing wood-burning ovens, the company specializes in equipping commercial kitchens for hotels, canteens, system restaurants and the like. The company belongs to investor Erhard Grossnigg’s Austro Holding.
