Guillermo Pedro Plate, a lawyer who graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Universidad Católica Argentina in 1998, has an outstanding academic background. His Master’s Degree in International Law, obtained in 2003 at the Duke University School of Law (United States), and his Master’s degree in Business Law from the Universidad Austral in 2011, position him as an expert in his field.
Throughout his career, the new Superintendent has contributed to crucial areas of corporate law, serving both renowned law firms and large companies. He has a specialization in the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing. Likewise, his experience as a fiduciary services manager in an international bank supports his ability to be in charge of the National Insurance Superintendency.
