In 2023, in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA), a 20.1% increase in property sales compared to the previous year. This 12.1% increase was specifically recorded in the month of November of 2023.
About the scriptures, last December, 4,560 deeds of sale were completed, exceeding the 4,253 of the same month of the previous year. These transactions represented a total amount of $233,571 million, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 214.7%, slightly above the inflation rate.
Compared to November 2023, Sales transactions grew by 12.1%, with 4,068 deeds formalized in that month.
Real estate: the most relevant data on the market
When considering the 12 months of 2023 in relation to the same period of 2022, an increase is observed 20.1%with a total of 40,539 writings.
The average amount of these transactions was $51,221,816 (equivalent to $73,632 according to the average official exchange rate). This value experienced an increase 201% in one year in pesoswhile in dollars there was a decrease in the 21.9%.
In December, they formalized 116 deeds with mortgagerepresenting an increase of 18.3% compared to the same month of the previous year. In the accumulated 12 months, the growth was 14.37%, totaling 1,648 mortgages.

Despite the strong political and economic instability experienced last year, with significant devaluations and elections involved, real estate buying and selling activity was remarkably robust.
The levels reached by prices they not only acted as a brake to stop the fall in quantitiesbut also boosted demand, especially from end users and, incipiently, from investors, thanks to the recovery of rental income.
In a context of greater protection of private property, as has been affirmed by the new government, despite economic inconsistencies, it is highly probable that the upward trend in real estate sales will be maintained and strengthened during the current year.
