Insfrán explained that the increase occurs “with the purpose of contribute to sustaining the purchasing power of salaries in the provincial public sectorstarting in February with an increase of 25% over the salary values in force as of January.”
“The measure includes the beneficiaries of the Social Security Fund (CPS). Likewise, there is a 40% increase in the minimum pocket salary guaranteed to active agentswhich will be set starting in February at the sum of $280 thousand,” said the governor.
Regarding the teaching ranks, Insfrán also indicated that “as of February, the value of the index point is established at 562.139205 and the guaranteed minimum pocket salary of the scale in the sum of $280 thousand“.
Official sources explained to Télam that this increase extends to the passive teaching agents of the Social Security Fund. Furthermore, they indicated that the ordered salary modification reaches the beneficiaries covered by Law No. 482 of the Institute of Social Pensions (IPS).
