For this reason, the value of the hour for parking went from $81 to $176 with respect to the so-called “simple” rate, while for the “progressive” rate it will be the same cost in the first hour, $228.80 in the second hour. second, $297.44 in the third and $386.70 in the fourth and the following ones.

Metered parking: what times to take into account

The charge for Parking operates from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., while it does not apply on Sundays and holidays.

“The update is necessary to promote the rotation of vehicles in one of the most dynamic areas and with the greatest concentration of activities in the City such as the neighborhoods of San Telmo, Monserrat, Balvanera, San Nicolás, Retiro and Recoleta,” Buenos Aires spokespersons explained.

The measure also maintains the exception to payment to resident neighbors who park their vehicle in a range of up to 300 meters away from your home.
