The working meeting -which was held at the UIA headquarters- had among its main axes the consensus to: promote growth, generate certainty and promote long-term investment in the industry.
In addition, they analyzed the evolution of industrial activity in the City, the impact of the pandemic during 2021 on the local economy and the challenges to give sustainability to growth.
The UIA and the representatives of the Buenos Aires government agreed on the need to articulate public-private work for 2022 with the aim of empowering the industries based in the city of Buenos Aires.
The link between education and vocational training was another of the topics addressed during the meeting.
The UIA shared with Larreta the agenda of the Department of Education and Professional Training -which the institution relaunched at the end of November-: the promotion of labor practices in companies of chambers associated with UIA and the updating of the mapping of skills required for the new employability, among others.
On the other hand, the activities related to Route X were reviewed, an initiative with which the UIA promotes the incorporation of advances 4.0, innovation and technology applied to production processes.
They accompanied the head of Government of CABA: the Secretary General and of International Relations, Fernando Straface; and the Minister of Economic Development and Production, José Luis Giusti.
