The Alpine Creditors Association provided information about this on Friday. The company, based in Bad Leonfelden, applied for restructuring proceedings without self-administration at the Linz regional court at the end of November 2023.

At the end of 2022, the company still reported positive equity of 1.8 million euros. In fact, assets of 313,000 euros were offset by liabilities of 26.2 million euros. After the positive annual financial statements for 2022, an auditor was called in. There may have been complaints about some balance sheet items, which is what the annual financial statements turned into.
The original renovation is currently no longer intended. The company is currently being continued in a reduced form with 10 of 73 employees in order to complete the last open orders and prepare the final invoices for the construction projects. The credit protectors assume that M-Tron will be closed completely in February, the broadcast continued. The existing assets will be sold; a total sale has not yet taken place.
