In that framework, the Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Services (CAC) prepared a report to give an account of what the link between Argentina and Israel in numbers.

The analysis shows that, in 2023, the commercial exchange between Argentina and Israel was 525 million dollars, a 11.8% lower than 2022. In this way, bilateral trade fell again, after three years of continuous growth, maintaining trade between both parties at a value greater than 500 million dollars, a value only reached between 2021 and 2023. This fall in bilateral trade is explained largely because of the fall in Argentine exports (in quantity) due to the strong drought that affected the country and the drop in international prices.


In 2023, Argentina’s exports to Israel were 341 million dollars, marking a decrease of 15% compared to the previous year.
What products does Argentina export to Israel?
Among the main exported products were beef, boneless, frozen (37.2%), beef, boneless, fresh or chilled (29.3% of the total) and corn grains (5.9%).
On the other hand, Argentine imports from Israel reached 184 million dollarsimplying a decrease of 5.1% compared to 2022. The main imported products were herbicides, packaged for retail sale with 10.4%, polyethylene density greater than 0.94, unfilled, in primary forms with the 10.2% and switching devices, disconnectors and switches with 6%.
Trade balance with Israel
The balance of the balance of trade between Argentina and Israel registered a surplus of 157 million dollars in 2023, which reflected a worsening compared to the comparison with 2022 given that the balance of bilateral trade had presented a surplus of 207 million dollars. Since 2001 without interruption, the trade balance began to be positivereaching the largest surplus in 2021 with 214 million dollars, followed later by 2022 and further back in 2009.
On the same hand, Argentine exports averaged 370 million dollars between 2021 and 2023, a value higher than previous periods such as between 2007 and 2012 in which they averaged 230 million dollars. For their part, the Argentine imports from Israel grew in the last two years, averaging 189 million dollars.
