He Ministry of Health and National Disability Agency resolved to update the current tariffs of the Comprehensive Care Benefit System in favor of People with Disabilities, in two cumulative tranches. This was defined by Joint Resolution 1/2024 published in Official bulletin.
The update will occur as follows:
– 20% for the month of January 2024
– 10% for the month of February 2024
At the same time, an additional 20% on the basic tariff for unfavorable areas is recognized for the benefits provided in the provinces of the Patagonian zone.
Disability: the update is given after complaints
Organizations that make up the Permanent Forum for the Promotion and Defense of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and other groups they mobilized in different provinces of the country in claim for benefits. For this reason, they will deliver a request to the presidential estate of Olivos in which they request update the sector’s service and transportation tariffs.

One of the representatives of the Forum, Eduardo Maidanatold Télam that “the Permanent Disability Forum, representative of special schools, day centers, Therapeutic Educational Center, homes, transportation, early stimulation, support for educational inclusion, rehabilitation, among others, are facing a serious emergency situation in the care of people with disabilities”.
Furthermore, he stated that this situation “caused closures of many historic institutions and take these mobilization measures together with the group of families, users, professionals and institutions”.
The situation is repeated in all the institutions of the country, “national social works have a delay between 60 and 90 days Therefore, when we receive payments we are totally outdated and maintaining the functioning of the institutions is practically impossible, which violates the rights of people with disabilities,” they said.
