The Chamber of Automotive Commerce (CCA) publishes monthly the average values ​​of the used cars for agencies in the sector, which serve not only to buy a car but also to sell it.

The suggested prices for February 2024 that were manufactured from 2009 until now are below. For the vehicles produced before that date, the CCA has no official values.

“These values ​​are plausible for variation according to the state of operation, conservation or other circumstances. Likewise, it is clarified that the aforementioned values ​​do not include transfer expenses, insurance, freight and debts, among other variables,” they indicate from the CCA.

The sale of used cars registered a drop of 12.73% last January compared to the same month last year and 4.83% compared to the operations carried out last December, reported the Automotive Chamber of Commerce (CCA).

The entity specified that in January “116,135 used vehicles were sold in Argentina, a decrease of 12.73% compared to the same month in 2023 (133,073 units)” and that “if we compare it with December (122,024 vehicles), the decrease was 4.83%.”

He indicated that the sales drop It was verified in all provinces, but the one that had the greatest decrease was La Rioja with 32.84% and the lowest was Catamarca with 0.59%.

In this regard, the secretary of the Chamber, Alejandro Lamas, considered that “the used vehicle is still a haven of value in our economy” and considered that “although the sector has decreased in its sales numbers during January compared to the same month last year, it did not do so with the unusual magnitude observed in other sectors.”

According to data from the entity, the 39.14% of the transfers verified in January were in the province of Buenos Aires18.26% in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, 11.52% in Córdoba, 8.10% in Santa Fe, 5.09% in Mendoza, 4.15% in Entre Ríos and the remaining 21.74% in the other provinces.
