Customer did not accept large order: provider of heating systems is insolvent

WMT Thermosysteme from Kematen, founded in 2004, has applied to the Linz regional court to open an insolvency application, report the Credit Protection Association of 1870 and the Alpine Creditors Association.

The company, which has seven employees, most recently produced and sold thermal heating panels. According to the bankruptcy filing, sales were low in the Corona years 2020 to 2022.

However, WMT became insolvent for another reason: a major order worth 1.57 million euros was not accepted by the customer. WMT therefore went to court, saying that a decision in the legal dispute could be expected during the course of the insolvency proceedings.

The liabilities are around 1.05 million euros and 31 creditors are affected. The company is to be continued; creditors are offered a quota of 20 percent.
