Salta created a solidarity aid fund for those who earn the minimum salary

The fund will be made up of solidarity contributions from various authorities and officials of the government of Jumpas well as decentralized organizations and state companies.

Through the Decree 113/2024, Sáenz announced the creation of a Solidarity Fund for Temporary Support for Retirees who receive the minimum income, with the aim of providing additional support to older adults in current times of economic difficulty.

He Solidarity Fund for Temporary Support for Retirees will initially be made up of the solidarity contribution of the governor of the province, Gustavo SaenzMinisters, General Secretariat of the Government, Coordinators, State Attorney, General Trustee of the Province, Secretaries of State, Undersecretaries of State, Higher Authorities, authorities outside the hierarchy and level 1, 2 and 3 support personnel.

In addition to Presidents, Managers, Directors and authorities of decentralized organizations, autonomous organizations, regulatory entities, State companies and companies, Public Limited Companies with majority state participation and other corporate forms in which the State has participation and authorities with equivalent or similar remunerations.

Thus, retirees from Salta who receive the minimum salary paid by the ANSES every month they will receive a booster in March and June. Currently, the minimum retirement is $105,712.61.

The governor Gustavo Sáenz will contribute 50% of his salary in March and June to this fund. While the rest of the officials will make a lower contribution in proportion to the scale of salaries they receive.

The contributions will be deposited in a special account that will be in charge of the Ministry of Economy and Public Services of Salta. So that the reinforcement reaches retirees, it will work together with the Ministry of Social Development and the Secretary of Modernization and Older Adults.

Meanwhile, internal control over the administration and operation will remain in the hands of the provincial General Audit Office and will have to report to the Chambers of Deputies and Senators of Salta.

Retirees from Salta: when and how they will receive the reinforcement

In March and JuneSalta retirees who earn the minimum will receive an extraordinary reinforcement from the provincial government.

The decision made by Salta seeks to provide additional support to older adults in times of economic difficulty and in emergency situations, such as medicines, food and services.

Through Decree 113, Governor Sáenz invites the municipalities, legislative and judicial branches and the general auditor of the province to adhere to this measure.
