The head of Moldovagaz noted that the company is now collecting advance funds for payment for the first half of December.

Cheban urged all gas consumers in the country to pay their bills on time.
Prior to that, on November 26, the representative of the Gazprom company Sergei Kupriyanov said that Moldovagaz paid off the debt for gas consumed in October and the first half of November this year in the amount of $ 74 million.
On November 1, gas supplies to Moldova began under a new contract with Gazprom. Moldovan President Maia Sandu said that the republic was pleased with the extension of the contract, pointing out that the gas crisis in the country ended with the signing of the agreement.
During the Russian-Moldovan gas talks on October 22, the Russian side offered a 25% discount. The condition for receiving it was a promise to Moldova within three years to return the debt accumulated over previous years – about $ 700 million. According to the new contract, the republic will pay this debt.
