Under the Electronic Records (EX) linked to the tariff classification consultation in the MERCOSUR Common Nomenclature (NCM) for certain goods, the Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) outlined certain Classification Criteria (from 16/24 to 30/24) with the participation of specialized technical areas.

The tariff classification process has been carried out in accordance with the protocol established by General Resolution No. 1,618, seeking to consolidate the consultations on the tariff classification of the mentioned goods in a single resolution act.
Highlighting the active participation of the Directorate of Legislation and the General Subdirectorates of Legal Affairs and Technical Legal Customs, this measure takes the form of a general resolution, following the guidelines established by Provision No. 199 (AFIP) of October 17, 2022 .
In exercise of the powers conferred by articles 4 and 7 of Decree No. 618 of July 10, 1997, its amendments and supplements, and by virtue of the delegation provided by Provision No. 204 (AFIP) of July 2 August 2017, the resolution assigns specific positions to the goods in the Tariff Positions of the NCM.
In detail:
- 14 electronic files (EX) that are subject to the tariff classification consultation procedure are detailed.
- Classification Criteria Nos. were issued. 16/24 to 30/24.
- The tariff classification was carried out in accordance with General Resolution No. 1,618.
- It is decided to resolve the tariff classification queries in a single resolution act.
- Annex IF-2024-00519772-AFIP-DVCOOA#DGADUA is approved, detailing the goods and their tariff classification.
- The general resolution will come into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
