National government triples funds to promote SME productive transformation

Merediz made this announcement during a meeting held at the Vegetalex company with businessmen and women with selected investment projects, where he was accompanied by the Head of the Advisory Cabinet Unit of the Ministry of Productive Development, Alejandro Sehtman; the undersecretary of Financing and SME Competitiveness, Laura Tuero; the undersecretary of Productivity and Regional Development SME, Pablo Bercovich, and the national director of Political Management SME, Daniela Moya.

“This call, which closed very recently, exceeded our expectations, showed us once again that the recovery is underway, that today companies are investing, they are growing. We allocate more resources to this program and to projects of SMEs that propose innovation and quality. The President strengthened SEPYME to be able to carry out this financing, which is central for Argentine companies. 260 projects of excellent quality were selected that will be able to carry out their productive transformation, to produce more and generate more employment”, Highlighted Merediz.

“In a world of constant technological changes, we want our SMEs to have the instruments and tools necessary to be able to innovate and improve their production processes. We work so that these public policies reach the thousands of small and medium-sized companies in Argentina ”, he added.

The program promotes innovation and development in companies through Non-Refundable Contributions (ANR’s) of up to $ 40 million per project. With these funds they can finance consulting and technical assistance; the acquisition of capital goods; and incremental working capital associated with the project.

The requirements to access the Program are to have a MiPyME Registry; produce manufactures of industrial or agricultural origin or provide services that have a sustainable development project; have at least 2 years of activity; and present a comprehensive strategic project.

Projects can be oriented towards sustainable development or export; to digital transformation 4.0; to eco-innovation; to productive reconversion; or to the design and development of new products or lines aimed at mitigating gender inequality.
