According to the latest Labor Market Index from Bumeran, the leading employment portal in Latin America, The average intended salary reached 600,705 pesos per month in February. This means an increase of 17.45% compared to the previous month, and is 4.25 percentage points above the monthly inflation rate, which is 13.2%.

“The data recorded by the latest Labor Market Index highlights a notable increase of 17.45% in the average salary required by talent during February, exceeding the monthly inflation rate of 13.2% by 4.25 percentage points. However, if we analyze the behavior of the intended remunerations in the last 12 months we observe that they accumulate an increase of 161.42%, significantly below the inflation of the same period which is 276.20%”, explains Carolina Molinaro, Head of Marketing at Jobint.

What are the intended salaries according to seniority?

According to the seniority of the position, the average salary in the positions of supervisor and boss in February is 795,076 pesos per month, with an increase of 17.76% compared to the previous month; in the semi-senior and senior categories it is 629,305 pesos per month, with an increase of 17.74%; and at junior levels it is 407,434 pesos per month with an increase of 15.85%.

The rest of the sectors are below the semi-senior and senior average, which is 629,305 pesos per month.

In the accumulated annual figure, the Administration and Finance sector is the one that presents the greatest increase, with an increase of 26.44%. While the Marketing and Communication area is the one with the lowest growth with 11.12%.
