Wholesale prices registered an increase of 10.2% in February 2024, compared to January. This variation is a consequence of the 11% increase in domestic products and 2.7% in imported products.

He Domestic wholesale price index (IPIM) went up a 10.2% in February and by second consecutive month was below inflation which last month was 13.2%. However, they accumulated an increase of 329.1% in the last 12 months, reported this Tuesday, March 19, the INDEC.

It should be noted that in this way they continue to decelerate strong compared to December when they had scored an unprecedented 54% monthlyafter the devaluation of the official dollar.

In the breakdown, the IPIM registered an increase of 11% in the national products and 2.7% in the imported products. “Imported goods align with the crawling peg in February,” explained CESUR economist Amilcar Collante.
