According to the experts at Landesbank Helaba, “the upward momentum is undoubtedly intact” for the Dax. However, signals of an overbought market situation warned against too much euphoria. Hopes of imminent key interest rate cuts in the Eurozone and the USA have increased again following the latest statements from the US Federal Reserve and disappointing purchasing manager indices from Germany and France. But the Ifo business climate from Germany due this morning is unlikely to show much change and will not provide any new arguments for these hopes.
