In March, Bancó Nación (BNA) granted financial assistance of $600 billion to 20,000 SMEs and large companies throughout the country, and to more than 10,000 clients in the individual segment.which represented a historical performance and an increase of more than 300%, compared to the same period in 2023.
Likewise, disbursements in dollars destined for foreign trade had exponential growth, both in financing exports and imports.
“Push loans in favor of SMEs and families is the beginning of the transformation of the BNA, so that it once again meets its objective of lending and does not continue financing the Government’s deficit”stressed the president of the entity, Daniel Tillard.
On the other hand, in March it was also observed that the resources allocated to working capital and investments increased by 500%, which allowed the economic activity of thousands of companies throughout the country to expand.
Regarding the disaggregated data, in March 2024, the entity granted loans for about $530 billion, focused on the SME sector throughout Argentina, while $70 billion was allocated to personal loans for multiple destinations, focused on durable goods and different services such as tourism and gastronomy.
It is important to highlight that financial assistance destined for working capital and investments concentrated more than $470 billion.
