Motorcycle registrations fell more than 40% year-on-year in March. They also fell in comparison with February. There were changes in the brand ranking.
The Motorcycle Division of the Association of Automotive Dealers of the Argentine Republic (ACARA) reports that the number of patented units during March 2024 was 27,449 motor vehicles, this is a year-on-year decrease in 43.3% since in March 2023 they had registered 48,411 units.
If the comparison is against last month, it is observed that the decrease is eleven%, since in February they had registered 30,848 units. In this way, in the accumulated three months of the year, 91,715 units, this is a 26.7% less than in the same period of 2023, in which 125,157 vehicles.
The best-selling motorcycle brands in March 2024
Regarding participation, some important change is observed in the top positions, Sling continued to lead the market with 6,258 units, now followed by Motomelwith 3,911which regains second place after having placed third in February. Corvenwith 3,520, this in the third and fourth location it remains Gilera, for the third consecutive month with 3,000 units and surpasses Zanellawhat with 2,301closes the top five in March.
There are also changes in terms of the most patented model, it continues to comfortably lead the Honda Wave 110historical leader of previous years, but second is now the Motomel B110, that recovers a position and surpasses the Corven Energy 110 by Corvenwhich is now third. Without major news, the Gilera Smash, fourth, and the Keller KN 110-8, Fifth, they close the top five with very few units of difference.
