Through the Resolution 30/2024, published this Wednesday in the Official bulletin, The Government updated the values for the categorization of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
According to the official text, this update allows companies that have maintained the level of activity not to suffer changes due to inflation, although the scales are well below the price dynamics. Changes in categorization
- Total annual sales: The limit for microbusinesses has been raised from $80 million to $120 million, for small businesses from $250 million to $360 million, and for medium businesses from $500 million to $720 million.
- Busy staff: The limit for micro-businesses has been raised from 10 to 15 employees, for small businesses from 50 to 75 employees, and for medium-sized businesses from 200 to 250 employees.
- Assets: The limit for microbusinesses has been raised from $20 million to $30 million, for small businesses from $50 million to $75 million, and for medium-sized businesses from $100 million to $150 million.
