In accordance with what was published by the ANSES in the Official Gazette, it establishes the minimum and maximum amounts of salaries, the tax bases, and the amounts of the Universal Basic Benefit and the Universal Pension for the Elderly as of April 2024.
The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) published the Resolution 62/2024 in Official bulletin on this Friday in which he establishes the minimum and maximum amounts of assets, tax bases, and amounts of the Universal Basic Benefit and the Universal Pension for the Elderly as of April 2024.
The regulations specifically refer to the benefits and assets of the beneficiaries of the Argentine Integrated Pension System (YES DAD). It also mentions that a new formula was introduced for calculating said mobility, which is up to ANSES to develop and approve.
The regulations state that “in accordance with current legal provisions and with the objective of guaranteeing adequate social protection for the beneficiaries of the Argentine pension system”, the following updates of assets and amounts are established as of April 2024.
The detail of the standard
- Have guaranteed minimum: is set to the sum of $171,283.31ensuring a minimum level of income for the beneficiaries of the system.
- Maximum credit: determined in $1,152,574.47establishing an upper limit for pension assets.
- Minimum and maximum tax bases: are established at $57,688.19 and $1,874,838.91, respectively, for the calculation of pension contributions, “ensuring equity in the contribution to the system”.
- Universal Basic Benefit (PBU): It is set at $78,354.30intended to guarantee basic protection for all beneficiaries of the system.
- Universal Pension for the Elderly (PUAM): is established at $137,026.65, providing financial support to older adults in vulnerable situations.
Additionally, the following measures are implemented
Mobility formula update: The regulations modify the formula to calculate the mobility of retirements and pensions, ensuring an adjustment according to economic and social variations.
Update of affiliate remunerations: The remunerations of members who retire or request retirement as of March 31, 2024 will be updated in accordance with the provisions of this resolution.
Power to dictate rules: empowers the General Directorate of Design of Standards and Processes of ANSES to dictate the necessary standards to implement the provisions established in this resolution.
Finally, it mentions that all the measures provided in this resolution They will come into effect from April 2024in order to ensure adequate social protection and equity in the Argentine pension system.
