AFIP operation in tobacco, food and beverage intermediaries

Regarding distributors with signs of lack of economic capacity.

The Federal Administration of Public Revenue carries out an operation in distributors located throughout the country with the objective of analyzing fiscal conduct and compliance with tax obligations in the distribution chain of beverages, tobacco products and food in general.

The procedure includes 70 taxpayers previously selected through risk matrices, repeatedly confirming the use of intermediaries used to underinvoice the values of the products sold.

Within the framework of the tasks, we seek to verify that a significant number of these taxpayers would not have the economic capacity to make the purchases analyzedidentifying in the preliminary analysis that a large part of them have the profile of unreliable (apocryphal) contributors.

These actions are coordinated and planned within the framework of the control tasks that are being developed in 2024 and their purpose is to detect deviations in the marketing chain with the participation of intermediaries.
