The Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo, held a meeting at the Treasury Palace with businessmen automotive sector, where it was analyzed the situation of the industry and the importance of improving productivity for both the internal and external markets was discussed.
The meeting was also attended by the Secretary of Industry and Productive Development, Juan Pazo; and the Advisor to the Ministry of Economy, Martin Vauthieremphasis was placed on the Government’s measures to normalize the economy and improve the competitiveness and productive capacity of companies.
Likewise, Caputo and the company authorities discussed the importance of the sector in employment and exports and exchanged ideas with the aim of promoting activity.
Representatives from FCA, Ford, GM Argentina, IVECO, Mercedes Benz, Mercedes Benz Trucks and Buses, Nissan, PSA, Renault, Scania, Toyota, Volkswagen, and ADEFA were present.
