The resolution comes into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette and is communicated for its corresponding dissemination.
Through Resolution 5499/2024 of the Federal Administrator of the Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP), published in the Official Gazette this Friday, it was established that, as an exception, tax obligations that were originally due on March 27, 2024related to the Tax for an Inclusive and Solidarity Argentina (PAIS), the tax on credits and debits in bank accounts and other operations, and the tax on tickets to cinematographic shows, may be considered fulfilled on time if they are carried out until March 25, 2024 inclusive.
This is because some financial entities have expressed operational difficulties in meeting the new established deadline, since there are no business days between the deadline for the payment of tax obligations and the closing of the respective settlement periods.
The resolution comes into force on the day of its publication in the Official bulletin and is communicated for its corresponding dissemination.
According to the official standard, the extension of the deadline is due to the operational impossibility of some financial entities to comply with the previously established deadline, due to the lack of days business hours between the entry period and the closing of their respective settlement periods.
