They carry out a citizen consultation for a new increase in tolls of 26.4%

The new rate scheme will cover sections I to X of the national road corridors -which includes the Riccheri- access; the north and west accesses to the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires; and the Road Corridor N ° 18.

The consultation plans to maintain the discounts for those who are members of TelePASE, according to category and time slot in which the payment method is transferred: peak / non-peak.

Citizens who wish to learn about the details of the project, clear up doubts and make formal presentations should enter the website. The web form available under the name “Form for the presentation of opinions and proposals” must be completed.

Interested persons may obtain advice through the agency’s website or its User Service Center, and once the citizen consultation is completed, the National Highway technical team will prepare a report compiling the presentations made by citizens, after which the new rate schedule will be announced through its publication in the Official Gazette and in graphic media.

This is the second toll rate update since March 2019.

During 2021, the percentage increase was 9.7% and in this case the update percentages proposed in the new tariff scheme are lower than the variations in the price index (CPI) accumulated until October 2021, including the rate update carried out in July 2021, after the corresponding citizen consultation.

On the other hand, between March 20 and May 18, 2020, the collection of the toll rate was suspended as part of the measures adopted by the national government in the framework of the coronavirus pandemic.

The consultation space constitutes a fundamental tool to promote an effective participation of citizens and of the different actors involved in the provision of the service.

The National Concessioned Road Network is made up of the companies Autopistas del Sol SA, which is in charge of the Northern Access to the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires; Grupo Concesionario del Oeste SA, in charge of Acceso Oeste; and Caminos del Río Uruguay SA, in charge of Corredor Vial 18.

For its part, the Riccheri Access to the City of Buenos Aires and the road corridors of National Routes with tolls are under the concession of the state company Corredores Viales SA (sections I to X), which manages the maintenance of various national routes and whose shareholders are the Ministry of Public Works of the Nation, which owns 51%, and National Highway, with 49%.

Of the national routes corresponding to the National Highway, which cover 42,983.80 kilometers, 6,562.23 kilometers are under concession.
