For his part, Foreign Minister CafieroHe highlighted the growth experienced by exports this year, reaching 72,000 million dollars in 11 months, and he trusted in the expectations of recovery in foreign sales. “To find similar records we must go to the year 2013, that is, we are exceeding the export levels of 8 years ago”, he assured.

When we launch the Export Development Plan, what we seek is to articulate the areas of management and government, and we draw on a lot of experiences with the aim that Argentina continue to follow this path of increasing exports. We seek to incorporate different vectors of development and we are zealously watching how value is added to exports, with capacities that we have to gradually involve in this great challenge of the State, which is to reach 100,000 million dollars a year, which is a measurable challenge. and concrete”, Asserted Cafiero.

The event also participated the Ministers of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Julian Dominguez; of Productive Development, Matias Kulfas; and Science, Technology and Innovation, Daniel Filmus; in addition to the secretary of International Economic Relations, Cecilia Todesca Bocco; the Undersecretary of Knowledge Economy, Mary Apolito and the secretary of Small and Medium Enterprises and Entrepreneurs, Guillermo Merediz.

It is estimated that, by the end of 2021, exports will reach a figure around 77,000 / 78,000 million dollars, which is the highest record reached since 2013, and a trade surplus of 13.94 billion dollars, which represents the largest of the last decade. Likewise, exports of manufactures of industrial origin are the ones with the greatest expansion (49.1%) as well as those directed to the markets of Latin America (46%).

The Export Promotion Plan 2022 arises from the work carried out within the framework of Public Private Council for the Promotion of Exports, that has the participation of 365 Chambers and entities linked to foreign trade, and that brings together more than 18,000 companies belonging to 76 Argentine export complexes.
