There is a shortage of winter diesel offers on the domestic market. This was announced on Friday, December 24, by the head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) Maxim Shaskolsky.
In this regard, the FAS sent a proposal to the Central Bank of the Russian Federation to reduce acquiring rates for fuel retail, the head of the service noted.
He also said that the peak of growth in exchange prices for winter diesel fuel is approaching.
“I think that we are passing the peak (of the growth of exchange prices. – Ed.), This situation is always seasonal. We expect a decline in prices. We do not find any signs of violation of the antimonopoly legislation here, ”added the head of the FAS.
The price of winter diesel fuel on the St. Petersburg International Commodity Exchange (SPIMEX) on Friday rose by 0.9%, to 64,790 rubles per ton.
On December 8, press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov commented on the rise in fuel prices in several regions of Russia. According to him, there is such a dynamic to increase the cost in some regions, but this is the subject of the closest attention of the government.
