Activists have tried to break into the Tesla factory site in Grünheide. This has not yet been achieved, said a police spokesman. The demonstrators had overcome the first game fences. He described the situation as “dynamic”. One woman has so far been injured in the protests around the factory premises. There are also three injured police officers. According to police, there were several arrests.
The police had tried to shield the area of the only Tesla factory in Europe and several motorway exits were closed. The railway line between Berlin and Frankfurt (Oder) at Fangschleuse station is currently closed. The police said activists sat on the tracks there. As part of the demonstrations to the site, there was also a sit-in on a country road near the factory.
There was another disruption in connection with the protests at Neuhardenberg airfield. According to the police, masked people appeared there and set off pyrotechnics. There is currently another sit-in there.
