For the purchase of a first or second home, the bank BBVA launched its line of mortgage credits, thus joining other players in the Argentine financial system who reactivated the product to acquire or renovate properties.

Starting June 15, BBVA will make available to its clients a line of UVA mortgage loans intended for the purchase of a first or second home for permanent use.

They will be in adjustable pesos per UVA plus a nominal annual fixed rate 6.5% for those who receive their salary in the entity and 9.5% for those who do not. The maximum term will be 240 months and the line of credit is without a maximum amount.

UVA mortgage loans will have a maximum term of up to 240 months with financing of up to 80% of the value of the property for the purchase of permanent housing. They will be in pesos adjustable by UVA plus a nominal annual fixed rate of 6.5%, for those who prove at least three months of earnings in the entity and 9.5% for the rest of the clients.

The relationship between the credit installment and the applicant’s income may be up to 25% and income between spouses or partners may be added to access the line. The prepayment expense will be 3% plus VAT on the balance of the debt.

“At BBVA we want to be the bank that accompanies people at all stages of life, offering products and services according to the needs of each stage. The possibility of accessing a home is one of those key moments, which is why we are very excited to offer our clients UVA mortgage loans to help them take a very important step,” said Juan Kindt, director of Business Development at BBVA in Argentina.
