Through Resolution 16/2024 From the aFederal Administration of Public Revenue (AFIP) and published this Monday in the Official Gazette, the Innovation Committee on Artificial Intelligence (IAI) was created in the General Directorate of Customs (DGA). The standard also mentions the participation of the World Customs Organization (WCO) and its BACUDA project, which promotes customs data analysis and data analytics training. The committee must coordinate with internal and external actors related to foreign trade to advance the implementation of artificial intelligence in customs activities.
