Economy made official the appointment of five new directors this Thursday. The presence of David Miguel Tauss as operational director of International Financing stands out, a man who was part of efforts with different political signs.
This week they were published in the Official Gazette five new appointments in different areas of the Ministry of Economy led by Luis Caputo. Most of the new officials have already held positions in the State, even in positions of another political nature.
On the one hand, three new positions were made official as of April 1: that of David Miguel Tauss as Operational Director of International Financing, Isidoro José Isla as Director of National Development of Habitat Programs and Matías López as Director of Provincial Resources.
Who are the new Caputo officials?
Tauss He has a degree in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires and a master’s degree in International Relations from the Universidad Austral. He is a man with vast experience in the State National since he was part of the efforts in Economy of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, Mauricio Macri and Alberto Fernández. His two previous positions were linked to the work and coordination of projects with bilateral external financing.. In second instance, Lawyer Leonardo Lepíscopo was appointed as Director of Consumer Defense and Consumer Arbitration as of May 1dependent on the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Finally, Matías Canosa Fano was made official as National Director of Agricultural Trade Control, who was already in office as of December 18, 2023. He is an agricultural engineer, graduated from the University of Buenos Aires, with seven years of experience as a consultant in the livestock sector, in charge of structuring and management of business. The direction depends on the Undersecretary of Agricultural Markets and International Negotiations of the Secretariat of Bioeconomy.
