Thus, the supply of electricity for export in December 2021 increased by 1.8 times in annual terms, amounting to 2.7 billion kWh. At the same time, in total, Russia imported 1.9 billion kWh of electricity in 2021, while in December this figure reached 0.3 billion kWh, reports TASS.
Earlier that day, Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller said that the company supplied 257.8 billion cubic meters of gas to the Russian domestic market in 2021. m of gas, which is the maximum since 2013. In addition, according to him, about 2.7 thousand km of gas pipelines have been built.
The head of the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan Magzum Mirzagaliev noted on December 28 that the republic plans to buy 500-1000 MW of electricity from Russia in 2022. According to him, the ministry has prepared a balance of production and consumption of electricity until 2035.
