Fuels: Week-long decline in petrol prices comes to an end

Gasoline prices had previously fallen week-on-week seven times in a row. Now the trend is reversing.

After weeks of falling, there are signs of a possible turnaround in fuel prices. Gasoline has become one cent more expensive week-on-week, according to the ADAC. Before that, the price had fallen seven times in a row.

The nationwide daily average for Tuesday was 1.778 euros for a liter of Super E10. Diesel also rose by one cent to 1.672 euros per liter. However, this was the second weekly increase after nine weeks of decline.

Compared to the price of oil, the ADAC currently sees the price of petrol at a reasonable level. However, diesel is too expensive, it said.
