Del Re said, with respect to the Promotion Regime for Large Investments -RIGI-, the importance of the final regulation of the standard and the need to promote investment, but with a vision of promoting the development of the national industry.

“We must prevent sectoral emergencies and pressures from promoting the import of locally produced equipment, generating an enclave structure and affecting national production,” he stated.

Likewise, the members of the entity’s presidency committee present analyzed with Franco the importance of eliminating the PAIS Tax on non-produced inputs, as well as an update of the SME law to strengthen the local productive framework.

In this regard, they stressed the need to promote specific instruments and lines of credit for working capital and investment, tax relief for companies and improving the simplification of tax administration, also strengthening the Technology and Innovation agenda in line with global requirements, taking into account that the majority of national companies are SMEs.

During the meeting, the importance of eliminating export duties and concern about the existing delays in different topics linked to the Capital Goods Promotion Regime were also emphasized.

Likewise, ADIMRA authorities stressed that public purchases are an important instrument of industrial policy that exists in many countries, for the productive development of strategic sectors.

Finally, they said that it is necessary to maintain specific instruments and lines of credit for working capital and investment and promote the Technology and Innovation agenda in line with global requirements.
