AFIP will advance andn the unification of tax and social security inspections in the metropolitan area in the DGI offices, before the moratorium and money laundering come into force, with the aim of modernizing control activities.

AFIP sources told Ambit that 44 hierarchical positions will also be eliminated and explained that as a whole the measure implies “a reduction in structure, but not in personnel, with the aim of modernizing audit controls in view of the moratorium and money laundering.”
The same sources indicated that this unification replicates the model that is already being done in the interior of the country and added that “This ‘one-stop shop’ will facilitate taxpayer compliance Because everything is in a single channel and there will be no more double control. From now on there will be only one control.”

The 300 employees who will be under the jurisdiction of the General Directorate of Social Security Resources They will be responsible, among other tasks, for the distribution of funds for social security subsystems such as PAMI, ANSES and social works, contact with public and private institutions in matters of social security, and investigation and reporting in cases of human trafficking and reduction to servitude.
