Government confirms increase starting in July and these are the scales

Through Resolution 327/2024 of the National Social Security Administration (ANSES) the Government confirmed the update of the Family Allowance RegimeThe regulations thus establish modifications to the national and mandatory system of family allowances for various groups of workers and beneficiaries, both in the private and public sectors, including those enrolled in the Simplified Regime for Small Taxpayers, beneficiaries of various pension and social protection systems.

Thus, ANSES established an increase of 4.18% in the limits, ranges and amounts of Family Allowancess. This increase will apply from July 2024 and covers the following allocations:

  • Family Allowance per Child
  • Family Allowance for a Child with a Disability
  • Prenatal Assignment
  • Maternity Allowance
  • Birth and Adoption Allowance
  • Family Allowance for Spouse
  • Annual School Aid

Key points of the standard

According to the official text, the increase is based on the variation of the National Consumer Price Index (CPI) measured by INDEC. Therefore, it emphasizes that the family group is excluded from the collection of allowances “If one of its members receives an income greater than $1,588,027“.

It also specifies how to will calculate and apply these increasesand provisions are included for temporary workers and agricultural workers.

  • ADOPTION: IGF up to $3,176,054: $269,962 (for all zones: General, Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 3, Zone 4)
  • MARRIAGE: IGF up to $3,176,054: $67,602 (for all zones: General, Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 3, Zone 4)
