CAME expressed its support for the May Pact and highlighted the need to provide predictability for SMEs

SMEs stressed the need to support dialogue in Argentina to build a development path.

Like many other voices, The Argentine Confederation of Medium-sized Enterprises (CAME) issued its opinion on the signing of the May Pact in Tucumán on Monday night. In this regard, he predicted that “it means the beginning of a new stage in the development of Argentina” and considered that it is a vindication of the values of the National Constitution.

For SMEs grouped in CAME, This pact “constitutes a symbolic act that must become a platform for a country which inexorably needs to move along the path of development.”

“SMEs represented by CAME need Stability and predictability to boost national productionretail trade, services and regional economies. Argentine small and medium-sized companies reinvest 100% of their profits in the national economy,” the statement said.

A country that requires political consensus

In this regard, the entity that represents small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) assured that “the postulates signed by all those present, summoned this July 9 by the President of the Nation, Javier Milei, They confirm the central idea that there is no viable country without the political consensus of the forces that compose it.”

And he stated that, “from CAME we understand that The May Pact highlights the need to reestablish points of genuine dialoguebased on the natural political scenario, which aim to put the country’s progress above sectoral interests.”

According to CAME, the disagreements that led Argentina to the crisis that society is currently experiencing require all political, union, business and social leaders to redouble their efforts in pursuit of the consensus that is made explicit in the Pact signed.

They also pointed out that the foundations established in our National Constitution, which guarantee freedom of trade, the promotion of education and respect for private property, among other aspects, have been once again made clear in the signed Pact.
