Used cars: why sales fell in June

Alejandro Lamas, secretary of the entity, said that “it is important to consider that during the month of June there were 4 fewer days during which there was no registration activity.”

“If we consider a daily trading volume of around 5,631 transactions, 22,524 more units should be added, which would have practically equaled the figures for May,” said Lamas. He explained that it should also be taken into account that “when There are parallel movements with dollars, these directly impact the purchasing decisions of consumers.”

“This behavior was reflected during the month that ended, generating a certain readjustment of prices downwards in hard currency,” he explained.

“We believe that this is a time of opportunity to acquire this type of product,” said Lamas.
