After his time at the AGIP and summoned by Nestor Grindetti, The official with extensive experience in the Buenos Aires cabinet is once again the top official at the brand new Statistics Institute of the City.

It is worth remembering that Donati was in charge of the General Directorate of Statistics and Census, today IDECBA, for 16 years. In this regard, he noted that: “Having a statistical organization like IDECBA represents a notable leap in quality that establishes the City as a national and international reference. It is a very strong commitment to the transparency of official statistics.”
Donati considered that the creation of IDECBA “is a source of personal pride, but also a recognition of the workers of the organization who, every day, strive and commit to the production of reliable, innovative and rigorous statistics.”
According to Law GCBA No. 6724, the Institute is constituted as an autonomous entity (in administrative and financial terms) and operates within the scope of the Office of the Chief of Ministers of the Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
It should be noted that a large part of the team that was in charge of statistics for Buenos Aires will continue in their positions, such as the general director of Statistics and Census, María Eugenia Lago, who, like Donati, has a recognized track record in her work.
