In the third week of July, the consulting firm’s indicator LCG estimated that the price variation reached 0.6% in food and beverages, which was explained primarily by the rise in the item Vegetables (4.6%)followed by Oils (3.2%) and Dairy products and eggs (1.8%).

The manager of a greengrocer located in the Balvanera neighborhood in the City of Buenos Aires confirmed this Tuesday in a conversation with Radio Rivadavia that the increases are “due to the issue of frost” and anticipated that the prices “they will increase even more”.

When reviewing different values ​​of vegetables that he sells, he explained that the cabbage white is $4,400 per kilo and the lettuce is between $7,000 and $8,000.
