The measure was implemented this Monday through the Resolution 488/2024, which was published in the Official Gazette, which extends the coverage of the program until December 2024 and modifies the procedure for the settlement of assistance, which will now be managed by the ANSES.

In addition, coverage is expanded to “ensure school continuity,” given that the program aims to support families whose children attend private educational institutions with state funding.
Changes introduced by this resolution
The issued standard, in summary, implements the following innovations:
- Program extension: The program’s coverage is extended until December 2024, providing greater assistance to beneficiary families for a longer period.
- Payment modification: The task of liquidating and paying vouchers to beneficiaries is delegated to ANSES (National Social Security Administration). This simplifies administrative processes and ensures a more efficient distribution of funds.
What is the purpose of these changes?
The purpose of these changes, it was reported, is to achieve these objectives:
- Greater reach: By extending the programme, a greater number of students benefit and greater stability is ensured in their educational paths.
- Administrative simplification: Delegating payment to ANSES allows for optimizing administrative processes and reducing bureaucracy.
- Strengthening the education system: By supporting families in paying school fees, we contribute to strengthening the education system as a whole.
