The Norwegian krone’s decline is so great that a former government minister recently made a radical proposal: to tie the krone to the euro. “The dramatic weakening of the krone over time requires us to think seriously about our future options,” Sveinung Rotevatn, a former environment minister and member of parliament for the opposition Liberal Party, told the Financial Times.
