The Health Union agreed to salary increases for August and September

The Federation of Associations of Health Workers of Argentina (FATSA), led by Héctor Daer, reached an agreement on a salary increase within the framework of the collective bargaining negotiations in the Healthcare Sector.

Within the framework of the collective bargaining negotiations in the healthcare sector, the Federation of Associations of Argentine Health Workers (FATSA) reached a new wage agreement this week with increases for the August-September period. The increase will apply to all workers included in Collective Labor Agreements 107/75, 108/75, 122/75, 459/06 and 743/16.

The union headed by Hector Daer announced the details of the agreement and the percentages of salary increases. In August, the increase will be 4.5%, while in September it will be 4%. In addition, a one-time payment of a sum of exceptional and non-remunerated amount of $44,613 for Health Worker Day, which is celebrated on September 21.

This bi-monthly agreement serves as a continuation of what was agreed for the April-July period, where the union achieved a 28.9% payback to be paid in three installments after carrying out a struggle plan that included forceful measures and demonstrations. Fatsa and the business sector agreed meet again in October to review the impact of the inflation rate and define new increases.
